Performance coaching is a new concept for many people.  Following are some questions and answers to give you further insight into how I work with and deliver value to my clients.

What is performance coaching?

For many years people have thought that improving their performance related to physical training or preparation for events.  They allocated limited time to the role that their mind played in the process.

Although we all know that it is important to think positively and even hope for the best, we often have negative thoughts and feelings.  For example, when you affirm and focus on thoughts such as "I want to give my best", your mind registers this as "wanting to", and responds accordingly ... so therefore you just keep "wanting to".

In addition saying that you are "going to give a winning performance" often doesn't work, because you think and feel "yeah right".   Building belief in yourself is the key to giving winning performances.

Why do I need a performance coach when I have a sports coach?

Improving or giving of your best performance requires a plan or program of action.  Often one of the following blocks slows progress or prevents success:

It's often not what is going on around us, but what is going on in your head that creates the biggest barriers!

How do coaching sessions work?

The majority of my coaching is done by telephone (tele-coaching). Therefore I'm able to deliver my services globally. We schedule sessions at pre-arranged times. Session contact is made by me (to a land line), so you do not incur any extra costs. Afternoon and evening sessions are available, from 1300-2100 hours New Zealand time.

Coaching sessions are scheduled regularly depending on the level of support that you require and your budget.  The sessions are designed to keep you focused, supported, and taking action towards your goals, desires and vision.

Are you ready for coaching?

Coach-Approach does not suit everyone. It's not only about having a nice chat. All sessions require follow up client action.

Coaching relationships require input from you to get results. I will challenge you, but plan on taking your mind and beliefs to a whole new level.
